The card I used with the rest of the scraps immediately inspired my Christmas Card idea. Love when that happens. Revelation is Good!

Liking yarn too much.....
I had WAY too much fun with this page. Other than the cardstock, this is all from my scrap pile. I didn't use a single new piece of patterned paper. I love how they turned out. If you have not tried braiding yarn and adding it to your pages, then go over to Danielle Flanders blog and read how. Why didn't I think of that! The American Moss on the bottom came right out of my bottom drawer, it was a mess but I was so excited how it added depth and texture.

Surprise!
Never thought you would find a post did you? I started cleaning out my hoarded scrapbook stash and found out how many scraps I really have. So here is my idea, make as many cards and pages out of my scraps first to see how many I can come up with. And since I have not scrapbooked for like 10 months now, that should get the ball rolling some, since cards are generally pretty quick.
So here is the first one out of the scraps.

What in the World was I thinking???
The year we finally build a house, and I think I am going to get 189 pages done? Laugh. That sure didn't happen obviously. But I certainly was able to purchase all of the supplies because my paper is overloaded. I am looking forward to 2009 and getting back to it. I will have to think for awhile about what my goal will really be. Hmmm, stay tuned!
