Liking yarn too much.....

I had WAY too much fun with this page. Other than the cardstock, this is all from my scrap pile. I didn't use a single new piece of patterned paper. I love how they turned out. If you have not tried braiding yarn and adding it to your pages, then go over to Danielle Flanders blog and read how. Why didn't I think of that! The American Moss on the bottom came right out of my bottom drawer, it was a mess but I was so excited how it added depth and texture.

The card I used with the rest of the scraps immediately inspired my Christmas Card idea. Love when that happens. Revelation is Good!

Forgot I created these this year...

I'm a genius

It only took me like 4 years to figure out these stars and complete them. I got frustrated every time I tried to assemble them, and then yesterday..."revelation". Had them all done in like an hour. It's good when you can laugh at yourself when you are a dork sometimes. haha.

Surprise!

I actually sat down last night and this morning and scrapbooked! I had started the orange page before summer began and there it sat. I actually made two identical pages of this for both boys albums. The toothless inspiration came this morning, that one was tons of fun!

My name is Paperaholic

So I found the two main pieces of this card to make it, and decided to check out the other paper that goes with it, oh boy. I found more scraps still. I am no longer buying anything except adhesive. Never mind that I separated my solid scraps and made them into card sizes, hmmmm 80 of them later I was done. Although I think I have had all that paper for years. Time to do something with it.

Surprise!

Never thought you would find a post did you? I started cleaning out my hoarded scrapbook stash and found out how many scraps I really have. So here is my idea, make as many cards and pages out of my scraps first to see how many I can come up with. And since I have not scrapbooked for like 10 months now, that should get the ball rolling some, since cards are generally pretty quick. So here is the first one out of the scraps.

What in the World was I thinking???

The year we finally build a house, and I think I am going to get 189 pages done? Laugh. That sure didn't happen obviously. But I certainly was able to purchase all of the supplies because my paper is overloaded. I am looking forward to 2009 and getting back to it. I will have to think for awhile about what my goal will really be. Hmmm, stay tuned!

Page 30, 31

The snowman page will actually be a gift to my Sister in law and niece, but it was the cutest picture so I had to post it.
